| Laemmle Theater Pasadena, CA This six-screen theater was the second phase of a retail/commercial master plan of a block on Colorado Boulevard— the main drag in Pasadena. The project consisted of Vromans’ Bookstore, which is adjacent to the theater, a Starbucks, an Italian restaurant, and an entertainment paseo connecting Colorado Boulevard with rear parking and shops. First phase construction was renovation and expansion of the 31,000 SF bookstore completed in 1996. That project won an AIA Design Award in 1997. |
